I am a landscape designer & have worked with Rob & his team for many years. They produce fantastic work of the highest standard you will find.
Rob has great respect for designers which is most important to me & we work very well in a collaborative manner. No corners are cut & clients are always a vital part of the whole process to ensure they get the garden they want & will love.
They do! Some gardens are now open to the public & proud owners are delighted to let others see what beautiful gardens Rob & his team have created.

Rob Jones, who runs the garden design company, has developed gardens for us twice in new build homes. In each case the gardens we had inherited were about a third of an acre and had been simply turfed over by the developers. Blank canvasses. We are not gardeners, but wanted a lovely garden to enjoy and to enhance our home. After taking great care to understand what we were looking for - and our budget - Rob and his team prepared design ideas to discuss with us. In each case these were very different, suiting the different environments and characters of each house (and incorporating a knowledge and imagination that would have been far beyond us), which we were very happy to agree with only the most minor changes. His team were wonderful, implementing the designs in a few days. Rob paid several follow-up visits to see how the gardens developed and swapping out the occasional plants that had not developed as well as hoped. We had years of pleasure from the first garden, in Buckinghamshire, watching it change every year as it matured (it started well and just got better and better). In the end I think it was largely due to that garden that we sold the house! On the strength of this we asked Rob to repeat the process when we retired to the Cotswolds a year ago, and are now loving the daily changes as the new plants develop and bloom - in sequence, like a fireworks display. When Rob visits now it is like meeting an old friend. We have no hesitation in recommending Rob and The Garden Design Company.
The project details below relate to the latest project. The first, in 2004, cost circa £12,000.

Following a new extension on our house, my garden was razed to the round by the builders who had been driving bulldozers over it for nine months through the winter!
Enter the Garden Design Company. Coming highly recommended Rob and his team came along and measured up, following which we were presented with the most wonderful set of plans. Having just had our first child we were delighted to find that he was fully catered for with pathways made out of materials that wouldn’t cause him damage when he fell off his trike and a sandpit in a shady area of the garden where nothing much grew anyway. The planting schemes were beautiful - just what we were after and the plans gave the garden such a sense of space.
The garden is now complete and a wonderful place for all the family. Rob and his team are thoroughly professional and clearly very knowledgeable and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.
