We hired Belderbos landscaping to build two sets of steps and a paved patio on the basis of building show gardens at Chelsea as publicised on the company website. The team had to be changed because of COVID and the new workmen told us they did not like coming to North London. Communication within the team was ineffective which meant that brickwork pointing was not done as asked. Bricklaying was delivered to an exceptionally poor standard. The company did agree to re-build it at their expense, but it was only just correctly built on their third attempt and we lost confidence in their skill to lay the paving we had purchased. The site was messy with tools not put away at the end of the day and cigarette butts.. Design specifications were changed without discussion. Invoices were incorrect and overcharged us. Receipts were not issued. The project finished because we engaged our own external industry expert to manage things.

We were referred Beldebos by a colleague and contemplated a few other companies. Belderbos is the best service provider ever used in London. From inception they were lovely and passionate. The sevice is fantastic from Eve the designer to the after service. Eve shared her enthousiasm about the project and made it her own. A truly well ran family business that prides itself of a job well done from design to execution. Everyone in the company seems to care about customer’s satisfaction. Everyone is super reactive. Adam the project manager is super reactive including on holiday, michiel (not sure about the spelling) was super nice and delivered an amazing job despite the rain and difficult conditions of access, James went beyond expectations to check all systems were fully functional and quality was met. A fantastic patio and truly amazing experience.

Belderbos re-designed my side and rear garden. The project involved a new outdoor kitchen, fencing, lighting and planting. I’m really pleased with the work - the garden looks great, really stylish and the outdoor kitchen is a great addition. The planting works really well, taking on board my existing plants and trees.

The project started full of promise and the design team were very engaging and creative. However the build phase quickly became a disaster. Our small London garden was completed 4 months late - resourcing the project was clearly an issue and we felt the team lacked professionalism. For example, we took several days off work to meet with the Belderbos team only for them to not turn up on the day. There was no engagement from management throughout the project despite the ongoing delays and missed milestones. We are happy with the finished product but wouldn't use Belderbos again and would advise anyone considering their services to insist on a contract with financial penalties for a delayed completion date.

Belderbos did a fantastic job on our garden, completely transforming it. The design they came up with has worked so well, giving us a lovely decking space with very imaginative seating and decorative trees. The work was completed very professionally in a short space of time and we are delighted with the result. Without exception, each member of the team has been courteous, friendly and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend their services.

I am an award winning Garden Designer based in North London and have used Belderbos Landscapes to construct a number of my designs. I have found the quality of their work to be excellent, from both a hard landscape build and softscape planting points of view. For me it is very important to work with a company who understand both of these core mediums in the delivery of a beautiful garden space. The garden builds always run efficiently due to a good office and mangement support to the team on the ground doing the work. Finally Belderbos Landscapes also has a garden maintenance division which enables the garden care to be seamlessly handed on after completion.

We employed Belderbos recently to design and build our urban garden in Belsize Park. They did an incredible job, with huge attention to detail, working always to achieve a perfect finish. The quality of the build is outstanding, but above everything else we absolutely love the design of the garden, how well it works with the rest of the house and how it has come out much better in reality than on paper. They are very friendly and they work really hard. We are very happy we chose Belderbos and we can highly recommend them without any doubts.
