We have a small new rectangular garden and Tim designed a scheme for us, which incorporates raised beds, trellis and brick footpaths with some pleached trees as a backdrop. The whole effect is lovely and we are delighted with it. We had several consultations with Tim and he took our views and suggestions into account. His colleagues planted both the trees and later in the year the plants and we would not hesitate to recommend all of them.

Tim landscaped our back garden in central Tunbridge Wells. His team excavated and removed a huge area of paving slabs. They then imported more soil and laid a lawn, new sandstone path and patio area. They provided and planted 7 silver birch trees and created a flower bed around the patio. They also erected a pergola and side gate. They did a fantastic job and were highly professional throughout offering advice and an excellent aftercare service. I would throughly recommend them.

It was by chance that I found Wealden Country Landcrsft. Tim Playfoot met me, discussed what I had in mind and came up with a plan that we virtually kept to. The end result is that my town garden looks twice the size. After an initial planning delay we forged ahead. The incessant rain was a nightmare....but....it is now really beginning to come to life. We have chosen mostly shrubs, the challenge being that there is an enormous oak tree in the front garden which creates a large amount of shade. Of course I am impatient to see it grow. I do talk to my plants ( as does HRH Prince Charles ), they do seem to be listening. We have worked well together and I have had many compliments on what has been achieved.

I engaged Tim at Wealden Country Landcraft in early 2014 to initially design some new planting and landscaping for our recently acquired large (1.5 acres), bare, rural garden near Tonbridge. I had a good idea of the 'look' I wanted which was natural, not too manicured and fairly low maintenance. However, I did not have much knowledge regarding planting and our site was also particularly exposed to the weather so I needed to help me achieve the look! We had several meetings over the course of a few months, where we iterated a large design for the garden. Tim came up with several ideas some of which I loved and some not! He was always happy to redirect and incorporate any ideas I had too, and we easily got to a design we were able to get very excited over! He pulled together a large and detailed quote for us in several chunks so we could prioritise what to do. We then engaged Wealden to do all the hard and soft landscaping and planting, around 4 months of work. I had just had my second baby at this stage and was living away from the house during the week but was very confident leaving Tim and his team in charge. They kept me up to date frequently and made sure I was involved in any relevant decisions. There were a few unexpected things which they dealt with efficiently and professionally, in particular ensuring the the public footpath across our land was kept passable at all times. Since then, we have kept Wealden on doing regular garden maintenance every 2 weeks. The team are always polite and friendly at the house and make sure the garden always looks great! Our garden continues to grow and we regularly receive compliments on how it has transformed since we bought the house. I would have absolutely no hesitation recommending Wealden for garden design, build, planting or maintenance. Thank you Tim, Adam and team!

Tim Playfoot was very helpful in suggesting options for our new patio design including stone paving materials that were within our budget. The quote was turned around very quickly and following our acceptance, work started on site shortly afterwards. The guys undertaking the work were very professional and courteous. They worked so hard during what were some of the hottest days of last summer and got the job done ahead of schedule. The finished product totally met our expectations and lots of friends have commented on how good it looks. Recommended on all counts.

We asked Tim and Adam to help us even out our lawn and lay turf plus plant some hedging down our drive as a first project, I cannot say enough about the quality and finish in the work delivered by the team. We are eager to get going on phase 2 for the planting next year. Highly recommended team.

We hired Wealden Country Landcraft to convert a large dis-used carp pond into a new patio with a low wall on three sides. The work involved demolishing and filling in the pond; creating a solid reinforced concrete base for the patio tiles; re-building a section of wall, re-rendering and capping; and designing, laying and pointing the sandstone paving. We were given good advice and discussed a range of options during an on-site visit. The subsequent quotes were fair and reasonable. The workmen were excellent and did a very thorough and well finished job in good time. We are very happy with it and would definitely use them again.

We have worked on several occasions Wealden Country Handicraft. They produced a landscape design and have laid limestone paving. I do not often recommend companies, however I would recommend this company and would feel confident that you would receive a good professional service and be pleased with the work you would receive.
