Beggarman-Thief came from a combined love of photography, a love of vintage and retro items (especially cameras!) and a desire to repurpose beautiful things to enable them to take pride of place in the home rather than gathering dust in the backs of cupboards. Every item we sell is a unique, one of a kind collectible and has been rescued from obscurity, cleaned and adapted to enhance your home or office. We even have planned a range of battery-powered lanterns for cordless use – ideal as the coolest flashlight you ever owned or the ultimate glamping accessory! All our lighting is fitted with low-energy 12v LED bulbs so virtually no heat is generated (we tried halogen – ouch!), making the lights safe for use where young fingers might want to explore and for extended use. And incredibly cheap to run!
