Filampthropy

The idea for Filampthropy came from my wife, our giant golden retriever, and I starting an adventure; living life in a small narrow boat in East London. Our traditional 1960's 42 foot home is tiny, very tiny, but we absolutely love the scaled down living. And it was whilst refurbishing the lovingly looked after, but seriously dated, interior that we felt a modern industrial look pendant light would look awesome against the neutral white wash walls. A modern twist to the industrial look and pop of colour would be a fantastic feature and whole lot of fun too. We set upon a mission to find the perfect pendant light. We scoured London and online yet we couldn't find the perfect fit, and so Filampthropy was born. We now make it our mission to make other people's lives brighter by making happy lights perfect for small, and not so small, spaces whilst doing good at the same time. We have both worked with communities and charities in different roles in the US and UK up until now, and we are determined to use Filampthropy as platform to do good locally and around the world. We want each light to make a difference and support non-profit organisation Elephant Energy to help sustain and promote the incredible work they are doing in developing areas of the world where they seriously lack reliable and safe forms of light and electricity.
