After struggling to design our own kitchen layout and trying B&Q's design service which came up with a conventional design much like our own efforts, I found 'Freelance Kitchen Designer' from a Google search and got in touch. It turned out to be our lucky day! We wanted something a bit different and having provided measurements and a brief we received 3 imaginative, unconventional but practical designs, all of which incorporated what we wanted and reflected the look we described in the brief. Having made our choice we then received detailed annotated plans and computer generated views giving a very clear idea of what the finished kitchen would look like. The great advantage was that we could take this to suppliers for prices and make comparisons. Simon suggested units and fittings that we didn't know existed and was extremely helpful throughout the process. I fitted the kitchen myself and sought Simon's advice on technical matters like ventilation for in built appliances etc. This was always helpful and freely given. We are very very pleased that we came across this service. Kitchens are expensive and getting it right by paying an expert designer a very small percentage of the total cost was money well spent. Many people have commented on the imaginative design and I unreservedly recommend this service .

Simon designs for us on a regular basis, from outline plan with dimensions and specifications from the client and ourselves for design of the kitchen. He is happy to work to tight deadlines when required and also to make as many changes as required (particularly when our clients keep changing their minds!) He is always cheerful and upbeat.
