“kitchen renovation and following an additional deck and mud room. The project was done within the agreed timeframe and within the budget necessary to make the project viable. At the end of each work day, the contractor cleaned up all the debris and tools making it very easy to tolerate the construction phase.”

“My husband and I are extremely pleased with the wonderful experience we have had so far with RIKB. We are moving from the designing stage into the ordering process. So technically we still have a few more weeks before we begin the actual renovation of our kitchen. If the rest of the process goes as well as it has, we will be posting another rave review. They take you from the design of your project through to it's final conception. Their staff is pleasant, knowledgeable and very helpful. Their goal is to create the kitchen you want within a predetermined budget range. Well it's done. We love the results. It's like living in a brand new house. All thumbs up for RIKB!!!!! We love our new kitchen. Here are the before and after pictures. You decide. We are glad we decided to go with RIKB. It's a joy to cook and eat in our lovely new kitchen. Thanks RIKB!!!!”

“This was an unbelievably easy and positive experience for me. First of all, I interviewed with 8 contractors before deciding on Rob. I own an older home and wanted a new kitchen (changed footprint), bathroom and flooring. Not to mention there was a crumbling chimney going through my living room that needed to be removed. From our first meeting, I knew Rob's knowledge and professionalism was exactly what I needed and trusted to get the job done. Throughout the entire process, Rob kept me updated almost daily on what was happening, what the next steps were, realistic timing of completion, everything. I never had to call him to find out, he was always a step ahead and picked out some amazing design schemes for my home. I cannot recommend Rob any higher; you can truly tell he loves what he does and goes above and beyond for his customers. 200% recommended.”

“We are in the early stages of our remodel project for our Beachhouse. Our plan is to enlarge our kitchen and Ian has been tremendous in thinking through the practical side of our expansion. His idea to move the peninsula from one side of the room to the other was brilliant. He has been terrific at providing us with site plans so that we can go to conservation. He has also rendered a 3-D visual of what our final kitchen could look like. He clearly has taken the time to understand our total picture and we recommend him and are highly excited to be working with him.”

“.....the design services and construction that were provided by Avalon Design Concepts in our Family Room addition as well as Kitchen and Dining Room renovations exceeded our expectations. Erick and his subs were friendly, courteous and very professional throughout the entire process of the construction. Our project was completed in a somewhat “timely” manner with the expected delay of items we had special ordered that arrived in less than “acceptable” condition and had to be exchanged. “We hired Caldwell & Johnson (C&J) for Dave's knowledge of green technology. Before the project began Dave showed us other houses he had built using some of this technology. In the last stages of design we decided to use photovoltaic technology. C&J installed solar shingles on the south facing roof that are producing more kilowatts than we are consuming. The photovoltaics coupled with other building techniques C&J uses to produce energy efficient homes (e.g. foam insulation) earned us a Home Energy Rating Certificate with a 5 stars plus rating. Dave followed through to get the house tested for its energy efficiency and we received certificates with the results. C&J was also top rate in terms of designing the interior details of the house. For example, board and batten was installed on the walls of the open staircase, craftsman style trim on all windows including some open transoms, and help when choosing finishes (e.g. tile). Dave's team is very knowledgable and professional!”
