“Richard Stone was recommended to us for the design of an extension to a house in a sensitive area; the original was created by an Architect on the Heritage committee of our local planning, but he had retired and we needed someone who understood how to reconcile the addition with the original. He was quick and efficient, producing CAD drawings in Adobe, paper copies and also on request in CAD, so we could merge his ideas into the existing shape. He is easy to work with and does not push his own suggestions over your own, also always came back when messages were left on his answerphone if he was in a meeting, and was totally reliable on appointments. What did help was he is ex-Building Control for the Local Authority, so designs were practical and compliant.”

Very professional in their approach, listened to my requirements carefully and designed a really pleasant, light and spacious office which now gets used on a daily basis. Really love it; with great views of the garden. We have power for heating, LED lighting and home office equipment, plus a resilient high-speed wired data connection back to the house for optimum internet connectivity too (WiFi's just not good enough!). I've seen some of their other projects at the larger end of the scale and all very impressive. If i ever take on a selfbuild in the future it'll be with Crescent Architecture & Design.”
