Awful experience, website orders unclear and order sat in the warehouse for weeks. No one contacted to tell us, and contact number on the website does not work. Avoid, especially if you are a developer or designer. This seriously affected the programme of our build

We ordered tiles from Starel which had a lead delivery time of 4 - 8 weeks. After 5 weeks we hadn’t received and had zero communication from them. For the past month we were contacting them weekly for updates and finally after 9 weeks we were told the tiles were not available. The shipment had been sent to the wrong place and we would need to reorder. We had the choice to wait a further 4 weeks at least, get a refund or change to a new tile in stock. Last week the staff were really helpful in making a change to my order and helped me very quickly resolve this. After choosing a smaller tile in the same marble. We received the tiles the next day. They were also cheaper and a refund was processed immediately which we have also received. The tiles from this company are beautiful and if your tile of choice is available stock then our experience of a long wait time shouldn’t be a problem.

Excellent quality product and after-order customer care. Our first order with Starel was for some small quantity of hexagon tiles for the kitchen after which we placed our larger order for the bathrooms. The quality of the product is great and people on the phone are always helpful and have a great knowledge in the product hence gave us useful tips for installation and maintenance. 10/10 would recommend.

I purchased some tiles in January this year and was advised of an eight week lead time. When they hadn't arrived by April, I emailed multiple times to ask about the delivery and received no reply. When I finally got through by phone I was told the tiles wouldn't arrive for another few months, so I cancelled the order due to no suitable alternatives that could be delivered within our build schedule. I have lost count of the times I have chased for the refund and now in December I'm still being ignored and still no refund. I left a review on Trustpilot in a further attempt to galvanise them into action. I got a response stating that I should contact them with my order details, and groundhog day... no response to emails, phone rings out apart from one time when I was put on hold and left until the line went dead. SHAMBOLIC - Starel could not deliver my originally ordered tiles so I had to chose an alternative which was slightly cheaper. I had already paid full price for the original tiles so I was due a refund for difference. After months and months of chasing I am still waiting for my refund! I have been in contact with Starel who assure me that they will follow this through but proceed to do nothing!!!

I bought some nice looking tiles but unfortunately two arrived broken, and despite my calling and writing and offering to pay, I did not receive intact replacements so I'm left with an unfinished bathroom floor since January this year.
