I was determined that it was going in the skip. I was then persuaded to give it to Cocoon Upholstery because it was a genuine old chair and maybe they could do something with it that may give back it's old life. Well, all I can say is that I am so relieved that it didn't go to the skip! The chair has been restored to its former glory and given a new lease of life. I now use it as my go-to reading chair. Another bonus is that the chair is an original Howard Keith chair made in the 1950s and worth a decent sum of money. That's so good to know, but I will not be selling this chair thanks to the professional care it has received from Cocoon Upholstery and the TLC at no extra cost.
