I got lucky after a huge bout of bad luck! I had a water pipe burst and about a third of the house was damaged. Luckily a good friend of mine is neighbors with DJ’s Home Improvements and highly recommended them to me. Up until that point, I never used a home contractor before. So my experience told me there were two types, the horror story contractors that did terrible jobs or never showed up, or the This Old House or HGTV type. I got lucky that DJ’s was the latter. Not only do they do expert, meticulous work, but they are like family and very easy to work with. Even with someone like myself who is a perfectionist. Jerry makes sure no corners are cut and the work is done to the nth degree. An example of that: I had asked that the living room wall be perfectly flat so that when I hang a picture wall, all the frames are perfectly flat. Previously there was a noticeable hump in the wall. So before they sheetrocked, they planed the studs and used a giant level against them to make sure they were perfectly even . After the wall was done, it looked like one giant piece of dry wall, rather than multiple sheets put together. Vita has great design suggestions. I think I have great taste, and picked carpet tile for the finished basement. Vita suggested another tile, that till this day, I’ve yet to see one as nice as this one in that color. Even all the workers (electricians, flooring, etc) were so enjoyable to work with. It made a bad experience, a great one. I got lucky.

There are simply not enough superlatives in the English language to describe my amazing, ongoing relationship with DJ’s Home Improvements!! I have completed a number of projects with this team in the past 4 years.... including a kitchen renovation, a Master bath renovation, a den renovation and the addition of wainscot molding in my hallways....:I am currently working with DJ’s on a second bathroom renovation. While the quality of work is always to perfection, it is the experience of working with this team that continues to be most impressive and the reason WHY I will never consider a future project without consulting them first! The owners of the company, Jerry and Vita Burdi, go above and beyond to assure that each and every detail of the project is considered and executed to the client’s total satisfaction....Vita has shopped with me, offered decorating suggestions and has cheerfully had her team correct a number of issues in my home that were totally unrelated to the contracted work because she just knew they were annoying me!! Jerry ran over to my home on a recent Saturday during a plumbing crisis in my yet to be renovated bathroom to offer his assessment of the problem before the emergency repairmen started removing walls without my understanding the problem!! That is much more than a client relationship - that is friendship and I am very fortunate to have found these friends! Their work crew is phenomenal - all are kind, neat, helpful, respectful and very competent - I actually enjoy having them in my home - they make undergoing construction not so bad at all!! Thank you, DJ’s, for being my go-to home renovation experts!!!

Vita and Jerry and their crew are above and beyond respectable . They are straightforward, caring, fair , come on time , clean up better than when they started , and their finished product is always perfect . I have known them and used them for over 20 years . Just recently referred them and same results. If he says two weeks to completion it is . They dedicate their time to you. I trust no one else . I would even leave them alone in my house . P.S. I am not related but they feel like family . They are now my friends .

A well established heating & AC company recommended them, to modify our built-in bookcases, to accommodate our new AC unit. What they did was beyond reproach. Their meticulous attention to detail was evident upon completion of the work. They were timely , clean, & considerate of the homeowners expectations.

DJ's Home Improvement company has been a BIG part of the reason I can still stay in home of 63 years. When anything in the house, interior/exterior, goes wrong, I immediately call Vita and Jerry shows up at my door in no time. The DJ Crew consists of talented, creative, dependable craftsmen. The completed job is always to perfection. They are the "cleanest" group of workers you could EVER have in your home. To date, they've refinished my entire den from floor to ceiling, & tore out my 63 yr. old bathroom and created a new one complete w/safety features for me; I show it off constantly to my friends. I've recommended, and will continue to do so, to my neighbors, family, and friends. I feel they are part of my family. Kudos to DJ's.

DJ's managed the project from start to finish handling all permits with ease, the various inspections along the way and all of the detail oriented work on the finished design. They were excellent to work with. They seamlessly project managed all of the subcontractors and their communication along the way was excellent. I highly recommend Jerry, Vita and their team.

They designed the entire job & made the process very comfortable. Their employees were great & did a great job including the clean up. They never left the job site cluttered.
