We ordered a number of cushions from Elizabeth at Old Bag Designs to be made with specific initials on them. The end product is FANTASTIC! They are really well made, creative and fun - with the character of the the old jeans really standing out and nice touches of humour like a pockets with some colour coming out of it. They are also really well made with beautiful edging (made from old silk ties) and nicely filled. Beyond the product itself, the customer service, speed of delivery and responsiveness are great. And Elizabeth is a delightful person to purchase from. We cannot recommend more highly for creative, unusual and fun gifts and items for our home!

We were absolutely delighted with the chair that Elizabeth made for our son's 18th birthday. The whole process was made so easy for us, as Elizabeth had such great creative ideas and suggestions. She produced a chair of such high quality and fantastic design using our son's much loved sports kit from his school teams, and he has now has something really special to keep with him on his journey through life that will remind him of his school days. This is such a brilliant concept and we would highly recommend Old Bag Designs to everyone!

I commissioned two photo frames for a child's Christening present to be made from soft toys. I left the exact design, colour scheme and choices of toy up to Old bag Designs. The end result was gorgeous and such a unique present - professionally made and delivered on time.

Old Bag Designs is a wonderfully inventive and playful idea. I have never seen anything quite like it! Elizabeth Knowles designs bespoke furniture and decorative items by recycling the things we love. I’ve bought several things for myself and as gifts (always received with great delight and amusement). I found the perfect gift for a job promotion--a side chair with old ties reminding him of the years of hard work. One of my favorites was the ottoman of old socks. Now I’ll never again feel bad about losing one sock to the dryer. And there are great things for kids that are so unique. I always wondered what to do with the mounds of beloved stuff animals. It seemed silly to save them but not quite right to throw them away. Problem solved. Old Bag Designs creates one-of-a-kind, adorable, comfy bedroom chairs. I ordered 2 bespoke decorated mirrors and one photo frame. Elizabeth discussed, designed and shared possible examples with me. She sourced a suitable vintage photo frame as well as willingly up cycling two existing wooden formed mirrors. I just had to pick a selection of photos that I wished to use for each item (Elizabeth was very helpful at guiding as to how many etc). I gave them to her on a USB stick and she worked with colours, sizes, resolution, layout to create very special results. The photo frame was for my Mum and the mirrors for my kids bedrooms, we all love to see them on on a daily basis as they are filled with our loved ones, some of whom are sadly no longer with us as well as a timely reminder of how fast my children are growing up!

Elizabeth made a beautiful floor pillow from clothing that my children outgrew. She has a way of seeing how different fabrics and colours work together and pieced the materials meticulously. I would highly recommend Elizabeth - artistic, talented, reliable and quick!
