reinhardt_jung architektur und design

reinhardt_jung is an architecture office based in Frankfurt/ Main and Sydney develops architecture through buildings, installations and curatorial work, publications, academic education and research. The two principals, Dr. Dagmar Reinhardt and Alexander Jung, received a postgraduate degree of Städelschule Frankfurt (Masterclass Peter Cook, Enric Miralles and Ben van Berkel) before founding their own practice in 2004. The office practices, lectures and teaches in Europe and Australia: reinhardtjung have been widely published and received a number of awards for their work on the Jones House and the FNS Apartments. Dr. Dagmar Reinhardt currently lectures the Master of Digital Architecture Research, and coordinates Architectural Communications. Dr. Reinhardt holds a PhD by the University of Sydney that engaged the technological and affective potentials of a latent, performative, phenomenal architectural design. The current research investigates relationships between generative design, structural engineering and acoustic analysis. Alexander Jung is a thinker and designer of architecture, was trained as draftsman, and worked internationally in Italy, Netherlands and Germany for large architecture companies. Jung received the Taut-Price, a distinction of the BDA Germany, in 2002 which was followed by the BDA MAX40-Price in 2010 for the Jones House. He was part of UN Studio (van Berkel und Bos) between 1998 and 2004. Jung became a associate lecturer and currently teaches Architectural Communications and Master of Digital Architecture at The University of Sydney.
