Need design ideas for a bedroom and living room combined

I am currently remodelling and designing a large room which I will be renting out as part of an Aparthotel. It is 14 ft square with a large bay window so lots of light. The problem is I need to fit a double bed, living area with tv and sofa/chairs and hopefully a small dining table. Having problems trying to decide on the best way to use the space and would appreciate any input! It will be a contemporary space and the kitchen bathroom & small garden are separate. Where are the bay window and doorway situated? Could you make a plan of the room?

jn267, on the "no TV" question: I haven't had one since the mid-'80s and rarely watched it then. News came from radio and in print. Now I get it online, but I still select articles and avoid videos. I've always preferred music over extraneous "talking noise" at home and have never used TV as background, as many of my friends seem to do. The fact that I'm the world's worst multi-tasker may have something to do with it, but I don't think I do anything more interesting than anyone else does.

Great work so far. I love the colour of the blue on the wall, the painting, and the chest of drawers. Are any of these pictures appealing? I'm thinking a bit of yellow would be nice to add or you can just add varying shades and textures of neutrals in the bedding, throws, and curtains or blinds. I've also included a couple with bronze as previously suggested.

Are you sure you have the measurements correct. That's around 300 Feet long by 45 feet - The size of a football pitch! That being the right size, you'd need to get an architect on board, presumably there are some windows there etc, you can't make suggestions until you know the basics - that starts with plumbing and drains., these will dictate where you can put the rooms.

Hi Shino, Changing the lighting makes such a big different to a space - your choices are lovely and will create a warmer tone of light, and give your rooms a nice central focal point. All the lighting in the links you have attached are very sophisticated and will look great in your rooms. The glass pendant in particular is beautiful, but it’s nice that your introducing a slightly different style into each room to keep that individuality. From your choices its clear you have an eye for very sleek pieces in warmer colour tones and metallics. In keeping with this style, I’ve include a link below to a beautiful wire pendant light you might like from Graham and Green. Hi - difficult to visualise without a room plan but this is a hotel we stayed in in London recently; I really liked the layout which felt intimate and comfortable. You could put a small table and chairs in the bay, perhaps and put a small sofa at the foot of the bed with the TV mounted on the opposite wall. Add smaller, armless chairs in corners that can be pulled out as needed but don't take up too much space. The door you can see is the door to the bathroom; the door into the room was diagonally opposite, near the French doors.

Sorry, posted one pic twice. There was an open shelf and hanging space in the corner to the right of the bed as you stood at the foot. This could easily have accommodated a small drinks fridge also which would have created more space in that corner near the bathroom door and made room for a funky plant, perhaps for added luxury.
