POLL: What type of flooring do you have in your living room?
Comments (71)I agree! As it is not always feasible to install real timber or stone, Karndean is the best vinyl option. I am going to have 36sqm of it installed in my own place. I have direct contacts with the manufacturers here in the UK. If anyone is interested, please inbox me and will get you in touch....See MoreChopping boards - wooden or plastic?
Comments (28)Wood certainly has a lot more to offer in both style and feel and practicality, you can not put a hot pan on to a plastic chopping board. There are various designs of chopping boards you can produce with wood, as well as enhancing the natural beautiful grain and colour of the various wood species. I suspect builders like this kind of trim because it fast and easy to use and covers a multitude of sins. You don't have to be a particularly skilled tiler. Nor do you have to do any special cuts....See MoreWood, Aluminium or Plastic Windows

There are also lots of great sliding doors out there! The ALUK sliding doors and Smart system visoglides are a good price and fit for purpose.
