Can you help inspire us?? Lounge - Diner

Our main living.dining room is having a refresh, for many years its been based on the Ligne Roset square system and extensia table.
New in is a Ted Todd Oak floor and a Halo suite in a dark brown.
We still like contemporary , but also like Oak, A long TV unit with cupboard space is a must. We have a concern that putting another sideboard in reduces the dining space and wonder if we should just have a round table. I'm very open to glass as we have a cat and it should be more scratch resistant.
Everything else is being changed, what would you do?
