Hello Aliko M, Just wading into the conversation feed. From having a quick read over everything that has been said, it's a lot to filter through and digest the suggestions that are of interest to you. I can only make a suggestion from an art on wall point of view. Bespoke artwork to compliment your rooms decor is our speciality, and so I would have to agree with the suggestions that what you currently show in your photo are too small and, in my humble opinion, don't bring energy and interest to the room. TV on wall behind sofa?

Hi Matt, We have the same layout in our living room - two sofas facing each other with the TV to the northeast of the room, minus the fireplace. I assume you've already tried some shuffling around with the sofas to create an L-shape, either with the back of one sofa against the fireplace (which would avoid creating a wall discouraging people to sit), or the back of one sofa to the open area. I don't know how new your sofas are, but would you consider investing in a new sofa? If you were to get a corner/modular sofa, you would maintain the same amount of sofa space, be able to angle the entire sofa toward the TV, and avoid cordoning off areas/creating an unwelcoming feel. For example: or: Of course these are based on the TV being in its proposed place rather than its existing place. If you're set on keeping your current sofas and having them face each other, creating a floor-to-ceiling bookcase, with a sliding door and the TV as the focal point, as others have suggested, would work too. Just a few ideas!

paint the chairs the same/similar green as the curtains. either use same fabric for kitchen blinds or use same green/white combo - maybe a stripe or something - you need to repeat that green in the kitchen - adding a big white bowl of green apples would help as a starter! I think part of the problem remains that the balance of light and dark is still not right - there's too much white in the dining and not enough in the kitchen. painting the chairs would help this, bringing the green into the kitchen will also help tie the two zones together. I'd also suggest more big white accessories in the kitchen area to speak to the white table. I'd also make sure there is a tiny bit of black dotted around - picture frames for example, the sharp contrast just adds a bit of edge and takes it all up a level. but looks much better already just having it all painted lighter colour and all one colour makes it all seem like one room rather than two, so it's all going in the right direction!

Front door not quite right

I love the structure of the door surround but not the door itself. The small equally spaced windows make it seem busy, especially with the unused trellises distracting from it repetitively. I'd remove the trellises and see what happens next. Then I'd paint the door a different colour.
