Cleaning simulated divided light windows?

I'm wondering if the aesthetics of the simulated light windows are worth the greater nuisance of cleaning them. Is anyone with these windows willing to comment on this issue? I would sure appreciate it... we are getting ready to order windows for our new house this week. Our builder likes the look of the simulated divided light windows, and so do I, but he doesn't have to clean them.

These windows (Milgard) have low-e glass and the window guy said it has a slight greenish tint, which is partly why the simulated lights are good (otherwise the green shows up against the interior grille). Our house is a craftsman style and I'm looking at a 3x3 grille pattern on the top sash.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts you may have on this!
