What a gorgeous design, I adore this kitchen! Could you please tell me who the manufacturer of the refrigerator is - I love the tall, thin wine fridge as well! Genius design.

Thank you it was a very rewarding project, wonderful clients! The fridge is from Gaggenau ( http://www.gaggenau.com/gb/product/RB492/RB472?sourceCat=cooling ).the wine fridge is also from Gaggenau. Gaggenau has range of fridge and freezers that you can mix and macth, they are really great value and brilliant design. You can also get something similar from Fisher and Paykel if your budget doesn't stretch far enough. A beautiful kitchen project in Efail Isaf. Lovely kitchen but hate to say it, 90k! I just can’t see it, I’ve the same ovens but they weren’t 4.5k each, well done to the person who got it at 25k, looks really well refitted. Sorry to say but Marie kw’s ebay £1200 bargin has just blew me away! Well done.

Good lighting will enable you to highlight the architecture of your space, your interior design scheme, as well as creating a mood and ambiance within your home. As with most areas of interior design, there are uber cheap and insanely expensive ways in which you can alter the lighting in your home. So, whatever route you choose, remember to have fun, be creative and incorporate a sense of your own personal style into the mix. Lighting is a critical feature in the kitchen, with all of us needing essential task and accent lighting to create defined zones for cooking and relaxing. Principally, task lighting provides a greater concentration of light, which is best positioned amid highly used areas of the kitchen: typically over a sink, cooker and work surface to ensure full illumination. I also find under-cabinet lighting is an efficient way to quickly and easily illuminate your worktop, as it evenly distributes the light across the area below without unsightly wires and switches. Task lighting under wall-hung cabinets will reflect light onto the work surface which will aid with food preparation. Plus, convenience lighting such as in-drawer and in-cabinet lighting will also make your kitchen more user-friendly. Try to balance bright task lighting with soft mood lighting, as this will create an accent in the room and separate the work area from the more social areas of the kitchen. If you enjoy entertaining and hold regular dinner parties, then mood lighting will allow you to create a more intimate ambiance. Accent lighting, like spot lights, dramatic pendant lights grouped together over a central island or recessed lighting that highlights a display cabinet or dark void, are all ways you can change a clinical work space into a comfortable and aesthetically beautiful kitchen. I think it looks very clean, fresh, and modern and much improved on the old kitchen. Once the owners move back in and add their own touches it will look homely. I had a kitchen about this size and just had one clear glass pendant light in the middle and the standard extractor fan lights. We were able to see and there was no problem with shadows so I don't know what all the fuss is about here. Kitchens are for cooking, not performing surgery. I would have chosen a more exciting looking light, but actually applaud the lack of spotlights here, aka 'builder's acne'. :)
