Ivy or figleaf?

Is this ivy? Seems it might be figleaf which is smaller leaved and hugs the steps better. I'd like to cover my step risers with ivy (because fig is not hardy in the Kansas City Mo. area), but am afraid of someone tripping over the tough and sometimes unruly ivy vines. Does anyone have another suggestion? Thank you. Marcia

    This is creeping fig. Unfortunately we are not aware of any comparable plant material, but agree that Ivy could be cumbersome on risers. Best of luck with your project!
