50 shades of white!

New plasterboard ceilings are going up, teak veneered / exposed ply kitchen being made but the biggest decision yet..... What 'white' paint do we use?
Good quality brilliant Matt White or something else?
Also, we're looking for a hardy white kitchen paint to use on the splash back any recommendations?
One final question. Has anyone come across a good cork flooring solution? Our original 70's cork planked floor has seen better days. We'd like to maintain I similar look with a new floor if possible.
Any advice greatly appreciated guys.
