We were just at your showroom today and want to purchase this table, almost exactly!

Hi,

The table on that picture is the same you saw at the showroom yesterday, the stain is 57 Martin.

Have you got stainless steel appliances or light fittings or handles ? As if you have then stainless steel would tie in with them ? I have a China sink and it's now a bit scratched - but 5mins with a bit of bleach brings it up looking fab again ! Basically which ever you choose, until they make Teflon coated sinks, is going to hold tea stains a bit ! So go with the look that you like best !

Just so you know, these parts are made on a tool called s spindle;e (small scale manufacturing). if you really really want to get the shape "just so" the supplier will be able to have a profile made for you, a new profile blade for a spindle machine will cost between £200 and £300. They may also have a minimum order OR they might ask you to pay a modest amount towards "set up time" (changing the blade over, etc.) I use Ternex in Welwyn for this sort of thing, their existing profiles can be seen here...https://www.flickr.com/photos/exploitspace/albums/72157669236158295

I love Johnstones paint. Wouldn’t use anything else. They can also match to Farrow & Ball colours etc. They do a sample tin. It’s a nice little sized tin (and it is a tin, not one of those Dulux plastic things) and as I’m a regular I get mine for £3 or £3.50 (can’t recall). I would get them to do a couple of sample tins. Perhaps have a word with some long standing member of staff to get their opinion. Our local manager is Sandra. She’s been there many many years and has a good eye for detail.

Hello, Your desk looks like it is melamine with a wood grain effect and not a real wood veneer. This means that you will not be able to stain it to match the shelves. If it was real wood veneer then this could be possible but unfortunately your only option is to paint it a colour with a paint that is suitable for melamine. Thanks Dean 2D Carpentry
