Glass roof cleaning

The whole room etc is a fabulous design and finish but how is the glass roof cleaned. Is it special self-cleaning glass or power-washed or what?

I would not recommend using a jetwash just in case you blow the gaskets and seals hire a proffessional

Hi, I would consider killing the two birds with one cheaper stone, so therefore might be worth investigating conservatory/solar control glass instead of switching glass. It would be a lot cheaper and last longer as well as actually reducing the solar gain from the roof. Switching glass will have almost no effect on the solar gain, but tinted glass definitely would as well as adding privacy. With regards to blinds, unfortunately we are temporarily without a supplier for roof light blinds. But there are several manufacturers. Just pick the right blind for you, and if possible try to get either a Somfy or Lutron system as they are both very good. The blind will be your best solution for privacy at night as once backlit both tinted and mirrored security glass become fully see through. I hope this helps, Jeff @ HBD

I can remove my AEG internal oven glass door for cleaning. Your instruction manual should explain how yours is done. If you don’t have a manual you should be able to download it online, just search the brand and model.

Hi Fiona, How exciting. The specification of the glazing is what will really impact its heat efficiency and your glaziers should be able to advise you further on this. One small note about lanterns is that they technically add volume to the space, which needs to be taken into account when calculating the BTU and heating requirements of a space. Once you have made your decision make sure to update your plumber regarding the BTU requirements.

I would speak to either whover you bought the doors from or the manufacturer (or both). If you try and clean them with the "wrong" product you might not have any come back under the guarantee.
