recycled french windows

i would like to use a set of 8 french windows (200cm in height) which originally were encased in one large timber frame . The windows have been dismantled from the frame and are currently stacked up in my garage. Is it possible to use the windows in my extension but split them up into 2 lots so two frames with 4 french windows in each frame ? the windows are over 100 yrs old but very sturdy solid and beautiful condition

A good carpenter should be able to construct a frame to any specifications you need. This sounds beautiful! Will you use them in window openings or in doors?

I also have a matching pair of very tall french doors (245cm) which i plan to place between the two sets of window frames as it is a 8 metre wall .... my existing ceiling height is 265cm but these huge french doors originate from a house that had 3 metre high ceilings.... will I be able to use the french doors or are they just to tall for my house?

If you search French door blinds 'Lucy' asked a similar question on 17/11/17. Here are my blinds, very geometric, not very country cottage though!... Sorry everything is crammed in the room as we are waiting for our new house to be built. Should give you the idea..the centre ones go to the floor.

If it is surface-mounted (i.e., outside of the window frame) then less light will appear down the two sides of the fabric. If it is recessed, you are likely to experience more ‘light ingress’. You can choose to have it manually-operated (e.g., via chains made of plastic or metal beads) or remote-controlled (via mains or rechargeable batteries). Although a powered blind is more expensive, it is rather fun to operate it from the comfort of your bed. You can even have it opening and closing automatically at sunrise and sunset (or at other periods) via a timer that knows your longitude and latitude, or from abroad (for security reasons) via a smart phone if you are into technological living! The different hinges can assist in having the doors sitting against the wall so that they don't impeded on the patio area. However, you still need all the room in front of the doors to open them initially, and you wouldn't want to have to move furniture every time you open them. The amount of room you have directly in front of the doors is still an issue, regardless of whether or not you can have them sitting against the wall to walk past them.
