What colours go with this lampshade?
Comments (25)Laura, there are many papers with navy and white, for example Patara Ikat by Thibaut. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=Thibaut+Patara+Ikat&biw=1516&bih=839&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0CDAQ7AlqFQoTCNvLqqPElcgCFQJHGgodN5AMBQ&dpr=0.95#imgrc=k2seesvtL05osM%3A I wouldn't recommend breaking up the walls by painting some dark blue, even in just the recesses. Using an overall pattern will give the space interest without making it too dark. You can introduce elements of copper through cushions, lamps, picture frames, etc. If you don't want to use wallpaper, consider stenciling your walls with navy over off-white and including some metallic copper in the stencil design....See MoreColours cream and coffee what colour to go wth them
Comments (1)It depends what sort of look you are going for - if you want something quite neutral, a range of tones in those shades with plenty of textures would create a comforting space. For example, smooth wooden floors with a cream rug and darker knitted throws. However if you want to introduce an accent colour, a warm yellow or duck egg blue would look nice!...See Morecolours to go with navy blue sofa
Comments (3)Hi Ste, do you have any pictures of your sofa and where it will be going? Blue works well in a Scandi or industrial chic setting. Team a grey carpet such as our super-soft Sensation collection with your blue sofa and warm up lots of cosy textures that soften the edges and keep it homely. Or if you want something more neutral, opt for a beige carpet with white walls to make your sofa really ‘pop’. Hope that provides you with a bit of inspiration! https://www.cormarcarpets.co.uk/ranges/carpet-ranges/...See MoreWhat colours go with a bed
Comments (13)The bed looks very comfy and a good colour. Have you thought about the proportions of the colour you are using though? The kind of think I am talking about is 60%, 30%, 10% (or threabouts) where you layer the colours in those proportions. Broadly it's walls, ceiling and floor, then soft furnishings then accessories. At the moment you have the walls as the largest colour of yellow. Is this what you really want? Or could the walls go a bit more neutral with the blue on bed and curtains and yellow picked out in the lovely cushions shown above?...See MoreEmma Birks
