Shower set layout

I am working on my layout. Pleas tell me if I am viewing this layout correctly: The bar/showerhead are off center on the wall, obviously much more toward the corner shown yet the person showering stands more toward the ceter of the stall and the water comes from the person's right side. Or would they face the corner thus squaring off into the incoming water spray? I assum there is a reason the bar set is off center. I'm tring to teach myself that remodelers do what they must as they work thru the bazillion design choices in my remodel. I'm acting as my own designer and GC. Runnng subs. Thanks.

Hello, this shower has a rain shower in the centre of the shower base (you can see some of it in the pictures). The hand shower is on the side and is just for rinsing and is off centre and next to the shower controls not showing on this image.

I much prefer the look of stainless steel and I have both in our bathrooms. It looked great for a while but it doesn't clean up as well as chrome. The chrome has a bluey cold tinge whereas the steel actually looks warmer.

I think your ideas are straightforward and realistic. If you can go without the extra storage, I'd say go for it! If needed, a shelf over the door can be used for dry towels and a basket for smaller items. Make ventilation a priority, from personal experience I can advise a 'residential fan' as they can pull the air (and moist) from multiple bathrooms/toilet simultaneously and are very silent (ours in on the attic).

Previous houses I've used a steel (so solid Bett Set) square end bath with shower at one end. I know you said separate shower - but a cluttered/claustrophobic room may not be worth it. It always useful to have the space after getting out to dry off rather than feeling cramped.
