My dream is Georgia! There are many beautiful places in Georgia for weddings and wedding ceremonies. I’ve done more research. The area of the bigger 1930s house is getting large amounts of redevelopment from the local council and is being seen as “up and coming” - I’m not looking for a house to do up and sell on, it’s taken over 2 years to get this far as we’ve lost out on so many houses in this climate. I’m looking for a home, maybe/hopefully a forever home, so in the long run the 1930s big house has won it for me. We put in an offer of £285k and agreed on £295k which I’m really happy with. Just have to see what the survey comes back with and fingers crossed we actually get to the finish point with this one compared to all the others in the last 2 years! Also there’s a big push for green space and none is being allowed to be built on, so that helps with the bowling green at the back! Thank you for all your advice though! I appreciate it

Advice Required on Location of Air Bricks

We are having an extension built & the floors are now going down. Yesterday when we went to the house we noticed that now the joists, insulation etc are in it is covering the air bricks - basically we think the air bricks are too high. The joists are going across them, so is the insulation & then there is underfloor heating to go in & laminate on top. The air bricks should surely be in the air space below the floor? Also the DPC is laying on top of the air bricks - so consequently would be too high? Any thoughts urgently required please. Thanks
