Arts & Crafts Bedroom Wallpaper Dilemma
Comments (85)It looks great, I'm glad you and your daughter are so pleased and she has lots of room for friends over, playing etc. It can also be easily and cheaply adapted as she grows if she wants. My only criticism (if you can call it that) is that if not already your daughter may soon also want the desk to double up as a dressing table and therefore I think a mirror was a good idea but the memo board (which looks great) can always be moved as and when needed. (I thought i'd posted a comment on that previously but obviously not!). I might also add a desk light there for working during winter months. So which room next?!...See MoreMagnolia with grey feature wall (Bedroom)??
Comments (20)Personally I would not pair grey with magnolia, consider looking at a different colour to contrast with...to emphasise and bring out the undertones in the grey. Or you could paint the room a mid grey, and use a feature wallpaper behind the bed to add impact. Also be warned that you need to know what undertone is in the grey to know what it will pair well with! Good luck look forward to seeing the results! If it was my room, I think I'd paint the room in a mid grey and do a feature wall behind the bed with a patterned wallpaper that references the grey - some examples attached - http://eu.farrow-ball.com/drag-dr-1283/drag/farrow-ball/fcp-product/201283 Or http://eu.farrow-ball.com/drag-dr-1280/drag/farrow-ball/fcp-product/201280 or I love the drama in this http://www.cole-and-son.com/en/collection-curio/wallpaper-107/3016/ would work with a dark grey room.... http://www.cole-and-son.com/en/collection-curio/wallpaper-107/4017/... http://www.cole-and-son.com/en/collection-geometric/wallpaper-93/7026/, http://www.cole-and-son.com/en/collection-geometric/wallpaper-93/7025/ Tailor your soft furnishings then to complement any colours that come through in your wallpaper feature....See MoreMaster bedroom wallpaper
Comments (10)Hi, Sounds like a really fun project, we really love experimenting with wallpaper at Amazing Space it will make a great feature of your space. Here are three favourites and some colour ideas to go with them, that will hopefully get your inspiration going. All of these options have that well Nice textural element to add depth to your space but in a really subtle way with the colours being very light and chalky. I really like the Scandi style for bedrooms as you can keep the space looking fresh and clean but with loads of cosy accessories to make it feel dead comfy. The best thing about these wallpaper options is that you can pretty much use any accent colour for your accessories. 1. Harlequin Tresilio Capas Wallpaper and Quartz Flint 3 http://www.awin1.com/pclick.php?p=3677271505&a=235703&m=1203 https://paint.duluxamazingspace.co.uk/colour/cool-neutrals/muted/kusa5o8H68/50BG76023 This option brings grey tones and a hint of blue so you could use that as your accent colour. Quartz Flint 3 is the colour I would recommend for your walls, this is a soft grey tone also with that hint of blue coming through to pick up the wallpaper. 2. Harlequin Drift Wallpaper, Storm / Linen / Stone and Dusted Moss 4 http://www.awin1.com/pclick.php?p=3060804499&a=235703&m=1203 https://paint.duluxamazingspace.co.uk/colour/whites-and-creams/muted/utIbKW6szh/50YY83037 This is one of my favourite Harlequin wallpaper, and I thought I’d include it as you said you liked Cole and Sons Wood Grain paper. This is a little more subtle but brings in a nice mix of neutral colour tones. Dusted Moss 4 goes really well with this paper as it picks out the neutral tones in the paper and is a nice warm tone for a bedroom to get that cosy relaxed atmosphere. Cole & Son Strand Wallpaper, White and Chalk Blush 4 This is another favourite of mine, from Cole and Sons so you might be familiar with it. This also comes in a darker grey colour, if you want a slightly bolder look but I personally like the softness of this choice. The suggested colour Chalk Blush 4 is a really warm off white tone which will give your space that really airy Scandi feel. http://www.awin1.com/pclick.php?p=3545517487&a=235703&m=1203 https://paint.duluxamazingspace.co.uk/colour/whites-and-creams/pure/kEWieQ7lcX/60YR33047 All the paint swatches are from the Dulux Amazing Space paint range, where you can get 3 free tester pots if you sign up with an email address: https://paint.duluxamazingspace.co.uk I hope you like the ideas! You’ll have to post some pictures when you’ve completed your project so we can see what you decided. Comments (3)Hi there! We think a yellow wallpaper would work really well with greys and whites. Geometric wallpapers are bang on trend now!
