Where can I get ceramic tile trim?

Hello
I'm metro tiling my bathroom - white - and wondering where I can obtain some 10mm (as near to) depth white ceramic tile edging/ trim. Everywhere seems to sell either plastic or metal.

Hi Helen, yes tile borders have been less popular recently than the main tiles so can be harder to come by than the plastic or metal edging strips. You could try Fired Earth or other tile companies with more ranges of decors/ insets. Homebase do a range called Alibon http://www.homebase.co.uk/en/homebaseuk/searchterm/alibon%20border%20tiles. Also if you find something specific online, your local tile company (like us) may be able to order it in for you so always worth asking! Good luck with your tiling project! Suzi

Hello Karen, Glad you like the image.. Yes I rather love concrete in the bathroom and kitchen and would work beautifully with marble or the tiles from B&M.... Oh? Perhaps speak to Houzz tech rather than unfollow... I love my followers! Not sure how at all that could be affecting your messages but I hope it can be sorted out.. : )) B&M are rather pricy yes it's not ideal for all clients myself included with trade, it would be nice to see them more affordable for all. With those they are very slightly irregular in shape.. It's what makes them special as they're hand made and normal ceramic can look rather pale by comparison.. I think though long metro tiles are nice too... Perhaps marble metro tiles and with those you could consider a herringbone arrangement which would be fabulous.. I'm thinking of another company now but they are even more expensive than B&M. With a metro tile in marble (Have a look at Topps Tiles but they may not have a metro tile.. they have some really good marble and are affordable. With a brilliant fitter and a good eye you can make them spectacular it's not about the name, the brand it's the quality and workmanship that makes something spectacular.. ... Also for concrete sinks Kast is just one company that manufacture concrete sinks of varying shapes and sizes : ))

Hi there, These look like porcelain tiles. We have a great range which you can see on our website www.cliftonstone.co.uk. Our 'Positano' has a similar look and comes in 600 x 600 and 600 x 300 format. There is also 'Modena Grey Satin' and 'Modena Gunpowder Satin' which come in the same sizes and have a more urban, concrete look. If you would like any further help, feel free to give us a call. Hi Sunny, I'm guessing the layout is like this then? Which is why you wanted a 900mm wide shower. I'd actually go with the 900 x 1200 as it's longer and will suit the room better, plus, if the layout is like this, then you have the room for it. Here's a link to all those in that size from Victorian Plumbing, so depends what your style is. Victorian Plumbing. They sell loads, so i'm sure you'll be able to find one that will suit. One thing to watch out for is the size of the basin and toilet. You will be better off with a short projection toilet and don't come out too far with the basin either as the space to exit out of the bath will be lessened. Regards to flooring, tiles etc, that's personal choice. What style do you like, what colours do you like, and most importantly what is your budget for the project?
