Hi Noa, I’m the drawing you just posted - the drawers wouldn’t work under the breakfast bar either - if you are using this software to design this yourself - you may need a bit more guidance, as the window looks to me to be bigger than on the plan - which might interrupt the gate outside ... and there’s no pillar shown in there either - which would reduce the look of the side panel that’s visible when you walk into the room.

Window Shutters are ever so popular right now, but the problem is they are quite expensive. Well its not really the product which is expensive more so the installation cost. So our question is.. with lots of guidance and advice - would you consider installing your own shutters?

Have a brows on YouTube re doing projects yourself, access recycling websites that may have some end of stock windows that may fit as this looks like a side window it won’t need to match the front .. if you can get a window at reduced price and feel replacing is outside your remit, having a glazier refit new window should be far more cost effective.. good luck whatever you do and congratulations 👏🏽 on our new home, I am questing you will be having some exciting times and fun projects to plan
