I've just bought a small, all electric, apartment with night store heaters and a huge hot water cylinder in a cupboard taking up a lot of space in the bedroom. I'm considering a blend of modern night store heaters and electric underfloor heating for year round convenience but I'd like to find an alternative to the hot water cylinder and replace it with something tidy that would provide instantaneous hot water. It's proving difficult to get advice. I can replace the bath with enclosure and electric shower so I only need hot water to the kitchen sink and the bathroom basin(about 13-14 ft apart). It's a tiny apartment, space is of a premium. Any suggestions/recommendations would be so gratefully received.
