We'd have to go for the home cinema in the lounge but for a lot of people its probably going to depend on what room they spend the most time in as nowadays in particular the kitchen is becoming more of a social area with families using it as a place for catching up with each other, so some people may say the kitchen.
It depends on what you consider to be smart home technology. The room in which you spend most of your time would certainly benefit from a designed in Home Entertainment system which has full control but we think the entire home benefits from Smart Home Tech as after all you use every room in the house although not equally. Each and every room/area both inside and out can benefit from automated lighting, heating and shading plus home entertainment.
Smart Home Technology is great for the entire house including the exterior. To be able to walk into your home and with a flick of a switch everything turns on from lighting, TV's/music, and even have the bath run for you...it is the ultimate luxury when designing a home.
