Floor lamp, copper and chrome

Hi, I spotted a lamp in a magazine but unfortunately have forgotten where it was from. It is a floor lamp in chrome with copper or brass also. It is an angled floor lamp style. It's driving me mad trying to find it. There is a wall light from Houseology, but no floor lamp. La Lampe Gras DCW 222. Does anybody know where I would get one?? Thank you for any information, cross eyed trawling for one!

I can't find any at all either that are copper with chrome. The best solution i can offer is that you buy one of the many copper ones available such as this one from Out There Interiors, then purchase some chrome spray available from most DIY shops and spray the supports chrome

Thank you that's a good idea! I actually thought today that I may go for a copper one anyway they are really nice. The reason I was going for the chrome and brass/copper is that I am just totally redoing our living room and not sure of the colour of light switches and sockets yet. Is it wrong to have 2 different metals?? I am painting the walls a pale grey so at the moment undecided as to colour of fittings. We are gradually going through the house so are changing them as we go. Brass has been discussed but I feel it may be a bit dated. Brushed chrome may look nice? AAAAgh decisions are not my thing. Any ideas??

Tee hee, I think of it an updated classic minus that shade!! Have you looked at India jane? Some of them are quite reasonable. I pretty much like all of them but may not be your thing. Is the lamp to go on a table near where the boys play? Could you swap other lamps if you want glass? Or would a desk style brass lamp work, maybe a more modern retake? Or again I'm not sure it's your thing but you could have a ginger jar base and get a shade to match.

I like the idea of mixing metals, why are not more people as brave. The thing is, if you try to use a copper or a bronze in bathroom throughout you are always going to find there is a certain product that you want that you can't get in bronze/copper or the bronze/copper that you have from one brand is not the same as the bronze/copper from another. The other issue with these new tones is that there are different materials that use different methods to get to the colour i.e. aluminum used in shower enclosure frames etc. has to be anodised to get to that colour whereas brass bodied products such as taps and accessories can be plated or polished or brushed or satinised, so the chances of getting everythig to match exactly are pretty remote. I would say you are better having two metals that are polar opposite's than a bad match.

I think you can go with whatever lamp fits your style. For it to be good for makeup application it’s more about the bulb. You should use a warm white bulb in whatever lamp you choose Another option could be putting a floor light or a wall night by the table - as table space can be limited
