I think that sofa shape will not suit your new space very well...but slow down and dream!rome wasn't built in a day!i would work on the kitchen plan...forget about the sofa.the kitchen is permanent...the sofa or location of sofa is not!...Kitchen...function first, then form.If you are not planning on this being your forever home...then don't spent money on moving the boiler, or plumbing or electrics as much as possible (unless there are huge gains to be had in terms of function).Also I think you'll be surprised how much more room there actually is once that wall comes down.I vote to keep the breakfast bar as I think it will really define the space.

The US site doesn't ship internationally, so unfortunately it will be difficult buying it off Houzz as the UK site doesn't have a marketplace yet. I would try and found out who the artist/retailer is and get in touch with them via their Houzz profile or if you can locate their website. Best of luck!

God..you city folk! Reading these comments makes me wonder now.. What about looking at the wider picture and outside the '2 square mileage box' for a change? I am a self confessed (converted) country bumpkin and though I am familiar with city life and the unavoidable commuting with lack of space that goes with that (having lived in central Madrid-Paris-Hong Kong) I was also lucky enough to have had the 'country mansion with lots of space experience' and with that in mind it there for would have to be...location! If the location is wrong then it is so much harder to change that or even sometimes live with, where as space is a luxury one can simply afford to have (create) or not, but certainly is something I could live with or be without!

Hello :) We have now plastered and painted first coat of white paint.. now deciding on the type of tiles.. we like the idea of Moroccon style tiles on the floor.. but as the bathroom is pretty narrow.. having a feature on the wall is a bit akward.. Our bathtub will be on the right and toilet under the window (same position as old layout) as all plumbing is already there. Unsure whether to have a concealed cistern toilet unit which can make the area look neater.. But I can't seem to find a good quality looking concealed unit (floor to under window measurement 98cm) width available is 50cm..or should i just go for a standard normal toilet. On the right after the bathtub we will have space for a double vanity sink unit.. opposite wall have a vertical stainless steel radiator... Unsure whether to go for a towel warmer or a vertical radiator? The bathroom will not have underfloor heating. Room dimensions are (length 335cm width 125cm) Any design ideas etc will be appreciated.
