Need design ideas for a bedroom and living room combined
Comments (4)Hi - difficult to visualise without a room plan but this is a hotel we stayed in in London recently; I really liked the layout which felt intimate and comfortable. You could put a small table and chairs in the bay, perhaps and put a small sofa at the foot of the bed with the TV mounted on the opposite wall. Add smaller, armless chairs in corners that can be pulled out as needed but don't take up too much space. The door you can see is the door to the bathroom; the door into the room was diagonally opposite, near the French doors....See MoreTranquil Forest Bedroom Ideas
Comments (21)We already have two big windows in the room so now just looking for some artwork to complement the mural. My husband found some great tealight holders that really work with the theme - two pine cones and the faux antler. I've also added brown and amber pebbles to my glass candle bowls which catch the light in a pretty way, and I've got a great new little light feature in the corner - long twigs with fairy lights that look great at bedtime!...See MoreEclectic bedroom idea...advice pls!!
Comments (13)I'd have a quirky feature wall with the other walls a light blue! Then you could use different vintage pieces around the room. Alternatively, I would have a duck egg/light blue feature wall with a nice pattern and the other walls a light cream/white. Either way I would put your bed against the feature wall with some basic curtains....See MoreSplitting large kitchen diner to create bedroom - am I crazy?!
Comments (11)I'd probably also have the little ones share a room. I was asking with the thought that maybe something interesting could be done in the original kitchen space. Like if there was some space under the stairs etc. Back to original question I think you could fit it in that reduced sized room. It depends on how much you want in your kitchen. A single wall kitchen and dining table would work well. If the extra room works for you then should be good. You could always move the kitchen into the larger room and use ithe smaller room as a study or playroom for now. Change it over when you really need it for a bedroom....See Moreminnie101
