Kitchen center counter top paint ( what type)
Comments (3)Hi, I would steer away from white. I am in similar situation like you and am an interior designer. There are lots of options but the one I'm more inclining to (in your case) is light grey like Farrow & Ball Pavilion Gray for example. It's pale but has a hint of grey tone in it which would create a really nice contrast between the warmth of the cherry wood. Also if you are using the top a lot, I'm using mine all the time, have you perhaps considered having a glass top? My top got really badly damaged by a oven cleaner gel when I put the tray on it and the whole surface just peeled off. In my case I want to protect it with glass. Just a thought... If you need a more detailed direction, I give lots of free advice on social media and my blog. Or you can just contact me with more info about your dilemma. Comments (8)I would go for high gloss mustard green wet wall where the tiles were. This colour looks great with aubergine and the sleek finish will instantly update the kitchen. Positional ceiling halogens and lighting under the wall cupboards to make the rich colours glow. I think three colours are fine, especially if you pull them together in a blind fabric or cushion. ???...See MorePOLL: What type of dining table do you have?
Comments (17)I searched everywhere for a round extending glass table and eventually found this ingenious piece of engineering of an extending table. It extends into a large oval and I have seated upto 10 people around it . It cost a lot of money but I love it, only downside is it takes a lot to keep it looking sparkling clean. Also you can keep an eye on your guest and see if anyone is playing footsie under the table. I have moved several times with this table and it has fitted in perfectly in every home. It also gets a lot of ohh's and ahh's when you show people how it extends. It is worth every substantial penny I bought it for....See MoreWhat type of lighting? Kitchen
Comments (18)Wow I skipped one by reading on mobile. I see now also the one above possible art. But am not sure if I have the right piece of art. Do you maybe know if the last light type could also be placed above some art / picture, or is this type more appropriate for blank wall?...See Moreturquoisetree53
