Window colour advice please
Comments (2)Double or triple glazed timber windows will look better, last longer and add value to your home. They come in any colour you like. You can repaint them when you want (for example, when you change the interior colour scheme). And they won't need redecorating for 8-10 years....See MoreAdvice please window treatments curtain and blinds
Comments (0)I plan to update my current curtains which is 21 years old (see pictures). I intend to replace the curtains of the small windows next to the fire place with Roman blinds and to replace the curtain before the French door too. The dilemma are: 1. Recess or outside window Roman blinds? 2. Do I need to increase the drop of the new wave heading curtain (on metropole) right up near the ceiling? Would it look better? Many thanks....See Morewindow advice on south facing extension...
Comments (23)Hi Tani Our garden is west facing & we have a window either side of the bifolds. We chose not to have roof openings to avoid extra heat from the sun. We are also considering adding an pergola/awning or something similar so that we can have the blinds open in summer without the hot sun streaming in. I am not a fan of hot weather (hence the integral blinds & air con) so avoid it as much as possible. I’m a bit confused what you mean about access to the traffic door...ours is by the kitchen end & is ideal. I’ve added a few pics so you can see our set up....See MoreLarge window advice please
Comments (5)Hi Ellie, that's why I want the back door and the fixed window to match, in height/width, so not disjointed like you see. It was going to be completely taken out & french doors added. Now I'm planning that the door & 'window' to be side by side but with the soil stack part of the wall remaining in between, but one will be the back door the other fixed. The plan is to have them both just completely glazed not a half n half door like it is currently....See Moreehill503
