Bedroom Wallpaper Ideas

hello everyone

i have just moved into a house and it has built in wardrobes in bedroom. the colour of those r blue .. nice warm blue ... i dont want to put blue wallpaper or even just white ... so anyone have any ideas for colour combinations i cud use with blue.

Hey Tasha. Without knowing your style and what you hope to achieve, I thought Id put together a few ideas for you to show you some colours using blue in spaces. I personally am drawn to brighter colours, or the exact opposite really moody and serious, without much in-between.

I would definitely think about whether yo want the room to feel bright, happy, dark, intelligent... you get my point. Once you come up with an end "mood" then you will be able to make the right decision for yourself.

Until then, have some fun looking a the ideas i put together for you. Make sure to read the descriptions, I wrote them just for you.

Any wallpaper with a constellation print on will repeat though ? If you want to see a proper selection of various constellations, not just the same one repeated over and over - then a mural, that is ordered to the size of the wall ( and put up like wall paper ) will be more interesting surely ?

It looks great, I'm glad you and your daughter are so pleased and she has lots of room for friends over, playing etc. It can also be easily and cheaply adapted as she grows if she wants. My only criticism (if you can call it that) is that if not already your daughter may soon also want the desk to double up as a dressing table and therefore I think a mirror was a good idea but the memo board (which looks great) can always be moved as and when needed. (I thought i'd posted a comment on that previously but obviously not!). I might also add a desk light there for working during winter months. So which room next?!

The wardrobes are a very traditional colour, so any other element which is also perceived as traditional may look a little 'staid'. I would consider a palette like this. Paint and Paper library Desert Rose is a lovely dirty pink beige which looks great with stronger teracotta accents and cleaner pinks. It would work with the purple colour of the wardrobe. Anything taupe would go flooring wise, just not orangey oak or pine.
