POLL: Do you use a dryer?
Comments (13)That sounds like a good idea to air dry and then finish in the dryer but you are then making two jobs out of one. We had a dryer but the husband put every load through two cycles to ensure they were dry and even had it on when the sun was splitting the rocks on the day (singular) of Summer we tend to get here in Ireland. So when it broke down I didn't get it fixed! The new sensor heat pumps with pin locks are tempting me though.......See MorePOLL: How often do you wash your bath towels?
Comments (49)Unfortunately, MRSA is all over, not just lurking in hospitals anymore. My nephew contracted it when he was about 18 months old. The doctors had strict guidelines to follow for prevention of further outbreaks for both him, and the entire family. I don't mean to stockpile but I wash mine so frequently, some have never been used and they aren't only the ones I keep for covering up something that is out that hasn't got a lid of some sort. It will depend on how much I do in a day - if it's one washing up and drying session, the towels might last two perhaps three days. If it's a heavy day, I'll go through several tea towels in a day and most will end up in the wash immediately afterwards....See More- 8 years ago
