Help with the design of my loft conversion bedroom

Hello! My partner and I are about to move into our new house and are worried about the design of our bedroom. We have a king size bed and 2 bedside tables. We would like a built in wardrobe and preferably a dressing table however, I'm not sure how all of thu will fit. Another issue is the skylight has a great view that we do not want to block. Can anyone help?

You have big windows so I understand the instinct that dark colours will look good- However I think that in a space with lower ceilings you have to keep it light and paint the walls and ceiling the same colour so that the height of the ceiling is less noticeable. I also would be trying to find a lower bed than the previous owners. I suspect that part of the desire to have a deep colour is to warm up a space that currently feels like it has hard lines and with nothing in the room it probably feels a little clinical. You can however make a room feel softer and more cozy with pale colours by layering natural materials. So you could get blinds, natural wall coverings, a sumptuous rug, and linen soft furnishings for headboard and bedding.

All radiators nowadays are fitted with thermostatic valves so if it gets too hot you just turn it down until the room is comfortable. There is no super accurate way of knowing how warm it will be because there are lots of other factors like heat coming up from downstairs, level of insulation, other electrical equipment in the room such as a P.C., personal preference and even the temperature in your neighbours house if you are not detached. So its better to go slightly larger and then just turn it down if it gets to warm than go smaller and then have to buy another small fan heater to keep the room warm.
