What brand of floating shelves are those? Where can they be purchased In the US

Thanks! The shelves are from Ikea. I think they are called Lack Floating Shelves.

I just downsized to a small condo and have been thinning out my collection of books drastically. I am going to have most of one wall in my living room lined with Whittier "classic" bookshelves painted to match the walls. These shelves are purchased unfinished and I am painting them myself. By getting all the same height and a mix of single or double wide shelving units, I can make these look like built ins when they're all lined up together. One thing I learned from my 4 years living in Southern California is to always make sure my shelves are firmly attached to the wall. I use Quakehold steel safety fasteners. Hmm sounds like a beautiful idea - mixing the contemporary white kitchen with rustic wood. I did a quick search on google shopping and found quite a few, but none have lights in them. Perhaps a bit of DIY will be required? We have under-cabinet lighting which come on when we walk into the room and they were very easy to source, as as yours will be floating you could get fibre-optic lights that can stick to the base? No, it is not too late, in fact you could not have done it before. I’d suggest taking accurate measurements to a glass supplier, they should know what deductions to make to enable them to fit accurately. If the tiles are porcelain a diamond tip drill bit will be required to affix the brackets. It will look very smart!

Your shelving is very cute, but maybe a bit flat. Shelving always looks better with a mixture of tall and short, fat and thin etc. Of course you are limited height wise so how about a plant or two? Say one tall and one trailing sitting on top of the Shelves. If you’re worried about caring for plants, there are some lovely faux ones about. As to lighting I think wall lights would be in keeping rather like this
