Comments (159)Hi there. Completely agree with everyone, you should paint the cupboards. I really like the colours in this picture as I think that the slightly 'greyer' off white cupboards would tie in well with your beautiful grey tiles. You wouldn't necessarily have to go so light on your worktop as in this picture. The laminate you showed in your third picture is really nice, where is it from? Think the quality of the black sockets are better now. Love the half wall ... and the industrial tiles that have been suggested. Comments (42)Thank you both for responding. I really appreciate it Sonia Im not sure abut a very pale colour especially on the island which is really dark grey. I think it would be high maintenqnce to keep looking clean and a bit too much of a contrast? If you have found any similar I would love to see. I have looked but nothing that grabs me Marylee I put the worktop sample upside down sorry! 9 years agolast modified: 9 years agoHave you looked into rust/water issues? A very easy DIY is using stainless steel tiles and I believe for a charge Home Depot can cut for your outlets, etc. We have used the larger subways behind our stove and love it (resembles below) and they came with a pealable back. No matter what you select, make sure it will look ok if you only go partially up, as it may feel very unfinished (couldn't find one picture).
