7 years agoYou could do one of two things:-
Either wallpaper the doors in the same paper on the feature wall. Wrap the edges and then give a good coat or two of water based matt varnish, to help protect the paper.
Or, place mirrors on the doors to match in with the bedside tables. You need to remove the knobs, fill the holes and paint, re-drill the hole for one knob as presumably you took a long handle off and rather than replace with one handle, you put two in, which looks a little odd!
Here's a door and drawers that i wrapped with the owners paper.

Comments (13)You could ask a timber merchants to cut sheet material to the size of the door - perhaps birch ply which could be stained, varnished or painted. Alternatively, a company with the ability to cut and edge band a finished panel (e.g. Egger) - Cutlist are one company. This option gives you many options. 7 years agoHow thick is the wall that the doors are hung inside of? I take it this is the cupboard over the stairs? It may be possible to make the opening to fit a standard door to the floor as the bedroom door is inside would be the same amount of space but aesthetically it would look better if this would work.

I'd use spray paint to match up with the Chest of Drawers that it sits next to.If you use car paint from say Halfords for instance, you will have a better choice of shades. You can laquer in matt or gloss for longevity if you wish.
Replace the handles to match the chest and may be add some moulding around the edges for depth and perspective and to also aid matching in with the Chest of drawers.
