Can you tell me where to get the radiator / towel rack?

Love everything about this bathroom. The treatment of the window and wall is really clever. I especially like the radiator/towel rack, which would be perfect for the upcoming redesign of our en suite.

Depends on the room, some designs really suits towel bar, especially when the accessories are intrinsic to the design. Other times you just want to hide things on the back of a door, so both have their place.

Radiator covers - yes or no?

We installed radiator covers in a Georgian house decorated in a traditional style. They covered modern, flat radiators and without doubt were a vast visual improvement. The space within the cover will get considerably hotter than the room so conventional thermostatic valves are no good. We used valves that had a heat sensor in the room not within the cover. I recall the covers were made from a fairly heavy duty MDF and whilst they did get quite hot they never warped. Using radiator covers probably means it takes longer to heat a room to a comfortable temperature but we didn’t notice an increase in fuel bills possibly because we often used open fires in the winter. Finally, the covers provided very useful shelf space (for appropriate objects!). Georgian houses don’t have window sills.

Decor Books That's a wonderful radiator cover. Where is it from? Others in this stream have said that radiator covers reduce the heat in a room but I've heard others say it doesn't - the issue is that it takes longer to heat up a room. On that basis, I'm tempted to cover a radiator in my sitting room as even if I paint it it's intrusive and I could really do with the shelf above it to add interest below pictures.

Your best bet is to make sure you see whatever you are considering in the flesh and compare as you just can't tell on photographs. I would strongly advise a visit to a showroom. Where are you based? Our showroom is based in West Yorkshire and is the largest in the UK so we have a range of towel rails to view. Warm regards.
