Hi Firstly I love the light over the table it's fab! I do think the lighting needs layering up a little and I would probably introduce a lamp on the work surface in the kitchen and possibly add some lovely lanterns on the breakfast bar with candles. Also, could you buy some temporary under cupboard lights and pop them under your breakfast bar? I know it may not be as good as integrated lighting but it may also enhance the ambience of your kitchen/dining room. Another option could be to place a thin console table running along the wall and have a couple of small lamps there?

Pagazzi Lighting have some lights as do cox and , as above I would avoid the cream, and opt for white , itll stand out against the wall and against your sideboard. Cox and Cox have some beautiful lamps as do Pagazzi lighting. https://www.coxandcox.co.uk/lighting/lamps-lights/table-lamps/ You could have a large statement lamp and a ginger jar or other white decorative items next to it. Hello !! Here are some lighting ideas for your kitchen: Spotlights are ideal for task lighting, as you can direct the beams where you need them, including into surfaces to highlight textures. A line of pedants over an island or table is also an attractive option. Low-level lighting under units makes them appear to float, while lighting above them creates a soft glow on the wall and ceiling.
