The tub was manufactured by Aquatica, a Canadian company. The closest analog in their current catalog is the Karolina model in matte white - https://www.aquaticausa.com/soaking-bathtubs/627722002961-aquatica-karolina-freestanding-solid-surface-bathtub

Hi. Hopefully the pros will have some ideas but the layout seems a bit tricky re the width, the soil pipe and presumably you want a mirror over the vanity?! It might work with the bath at the opposite end of the room to where it is now and then encase shower and bath behind glass as per pic. Have the loo between the windows but hopefully there's some room for manoeuvre so it can move left a little and have the vanity where the bath currently is. It does mean you're facing the loo as you walk in though :( I might consider a smaller mirror over the vanity with lights and then what's left of the wall on the bedroom door side you could mirror to make it feel wider. Antiqued mirror could look great depending on what other materials you use . What style is the bedroom?

Just to weigh in on the Howdens comments, the key is to make sure you know someone in the trade who can put you forward to them, that way you just get dealt with as a trade using their account. They do have sales on but generally speaking the price doesn't fluctuate much through the year, except when they have their big sale on which is usually October time. I do use Howdens and no, they're not perfect but most of the grumbles I hear are more to with customer service which don't fall in line with the glossy showroom kitchen providers. The quality of the kitchens is very good (25 year warranty iirc) so if you have access to them then do get a quote from them. I think what I would say is that if you go to Howdens, expect a slightly tradesman type relationship (the showrooms are far from impressive) but a key thing is that they hold stock on most items. If you get a damaged door for example, it can be replaced next day, try getting that out of Homebase....... With regard to appliances, we have SMEG in our kitchen and I'd never buy it again. Hobbs been fine, but three new ovens on warranty and whilst it now works fine, the previous two didn't. Previously we had Bosch for everything and it all worked faultlessly, so I can't recommend them enough.

OK, I have decided that I want one of these, but outside the house, for an outdor spa experience (we have a totally secluded and leafy garden, so I'm not worried about the neighbours. I already have hot and cold feeds outside, and drainage should be pretty easy. But I think concrete has to be the material for the tub, for durability, and it will need a cover. Anyone have any links?

Hi Andrew Don't know if this helps or not but you can get these like really deep round/square baths, called japanese baths or something. obviously you'd have to sit rather than lie in the bath but maybe a solution? I've put some pics below
