Hi, I think your scheme is going to work very well. I tried to imagine the dining room table gone and replaced with something a little more Scandinavian, with maybe mustard colour seats, Grey or White. I think the Armchair will look good in Mustard to bring together the other end of the room with your Swivel chair. The coffee table will need to go as it's just to modular to fit in with the theme. However, the pale wood of a scandinavian coffee table is going to sit very well on your rug and will pick up on the floor colouring, blending it all together. Add some funky cushions to the sofa, job done.

I like your colourful, lively living room and I sense your instinct is: more colour! And I agree. :). Embrace your love of colour rather than mute it. Perhaps you should hold off deciding on a new armchair however until after you have your teal sofa and lived with it for a while. I quite like your current snuggler. Why do you want to replace it?

That was a good idea to try sofa there, since I don't have any smaller sofa I have lined up 3 dining chairs. . In line, length140cm and Ice sat them out clearing the radiator, and also out so that they fit out at 90cm depth from radiator. I've never liked the look of a single sofa in an area as think it just can look a bit silly.... so I'm thinking 2 chairs instead, that way I can angle one a bit into the bay window? Here's the pic to represent a small 140cm long sofa position

What a beautiful room! Can the yellow/orange sofa be switched to the adjacent wall? I’d then have the red armchair in front of the window alcove with a throw and add a tufted cushion pad to the window seat in a linen that matches the wall colour. I feel like the alcoves could maybe take some colour. Maybe a plaster/ salmon pink? Or a wallpaper with pinks or blues/green in the pattern. I’d go for complementary colours to your sofa for the cushions - so blues, purples, pinks, dark greens. Maybe a woo midcentury armchair where the red one is currently. In a dark or olive green leather?
