what is the make/name of the tile you used on this build ? very nice, would like to know more.

Have a look at Marshalls Tiles, British Ceramic Tiles and Mandarin Stone for some inspiration and good quality tiles at reasonable prices. Difficult to know specifically what to recommend without knowing a bit more about the space - rough dimensions, any pitched ceilings etc. I think I would personally opt for large format tiles in a sandy, lightly stone-textured pattern & tone for the walls. I am not a huge fan of metro tiles - I know they are quite in "now", but they still remind me of a public convenience, and I think people tire of them quickly. And cleaning all those grout lines is a real pain! Personally, I think the light grey/brown stone look and feel is far more relaxing and much more "timeless". It also works better if there are any slopes to contend with - far fewer cuts to contend with! For the floor, I would then opt either for a similar tile in a darker shade or go for a Karndean Palioclic in a wood effect - warmer to walk on, quicker to lay and specifically designed for bathrooms. Let us know what you eventually opt for - and upload pics!

When I moved in this house the previous owners had proper bathroom tiles in the bathroom but when wet they were ridiculously slippy. So my first concern would definitely be finding out if they are slippy when wet. Re aesthetics, I really like Carolina’s pic mixing wood effect tile with the white and black. I like the high shine of the large format tiles but just looking at them makes me scared of slipping.

Black front door, inside side pink... that gets my vote :-) There are door bells that have a camera which connects to your phone and it will video (and save if you opt for that, costs a little bit of money each year) and let you know whether there’s someone at the door, even if they don’t ring the bell. We have one. I can see and talk to the people who are on my driveway even when I’m not at home. They are not hugely expensive. But its style is not in keeping with the style of your house, so possibly not for you. Just thought I’d mention it anyway. You can define the area that it needs to ‘guard’. Not sure how small you can set it to though. Might get a bit annoying if it tells you every time someone walks by the house ;-) Ours is a Ring. Works well as long as you’ve got a good internet connection.
