Make one bathroom smaller? Advice on bathrooms remodel
Comments (18)I've been thinking about options to cover all basis and came up with this. To allow guests to use a bath/shower the ensuite would be shared. I added a wall in the master bedroom to divide it and add privacy so guests don't have to walk into the bedroom to get to the bath/shower. The upsides are that the ensuite is larger, includes a bath and shower and has more vanity room. Also, by diving the bedroom I can add sort of a walk-in wardrobe. The downsides are that there's only one bath/shower that has to be shared and guests have to walk through the walk-in wardrobe to get to it. Also, it reduces the size of the master bedroom but it's quite a long room anyway and it would cut out the light from the windows in the bedroom. Personally I don't see these as big problems but I guess some people won't like it. Do you think this is a good idea?...See MoreBathroom tiling advice needed please. thanks in advance :)
Comments (5)The tile for the wall with the effect is called Himalaya grey, I also have a Himalaya anthracite which is a bit darker. The tiles for the floor which you said looks like has a blue tone is called 'bran grey', I also have a darker grey tile in the same series. I will attach pics again, please advise on which combinations will work. himalaya grey with the darker grey option for floor. Himalaya anthracite - darker version of above 4 choices for the floor, the bottom left being bran grey (which you think is blue tone, does it still look blue to you in this pic?) and the bottom right is the darker grey. Thanks a lot!...See MoreWall tile colour scheme to complement bathroom units.
Comments (9)We've been for a look around a tiling store today and played around with some ideas. We really like the below tile, similar to what was recommended above; We compared it against a wooden effect floor tile, an anthracite tile, and a "cement" coloured tile; The bathroom itself is fairly small; approx 2m x 2.5m. Not sure if the wood or the anthracite might be too dark for the room?...See MoreHelp! Need advice for bathroom paint colour
Comments (8)I think the white walls are fine in your bathroom, in fact the walls look more taupe than white on my iPad. It just needs accessorising. I would remove the red accessories which are a little dated, and add some warm metals instead. I don’t mean remove all the chrome, but add, say, a brass soap dispenser, a faux plant in a brass pot, some art on the wall with a brass/gold or black frames. Replace the loo roll holder with a brass one. It’s a nice bathroom which just needs accessorising. Pictures always look good in a bathroom so a picture above the loo and on the adjacent wall will improve things. Some ideas:...See MoreJonathan
