How deep is this cabinet?

We need lower cabinets that are about 16" deep.

The cabinets in this photo are 22" deep with a 24" deep countertop. The uppers are 14" deep. We can build 16" deep base cabinets for you, not a problem.

Hello, I am currently redecorating my kitchen which has orange ish beech cabinets. Unfortunately I am unable to replace or paint the doors, so.... How can I ensure that the wall colour I chose does not appear to make them any more orange? I created a rough idea book for how I envisaged the kitchen looking. I originally wanted a taupe kind of colour on the walls. I have done some research on good old Google, but what I've read is very contradictory! Some articles say choose a warm colour to blend them in, others say a cool colour to contrast not add to ! So how do u choose a wall colour that won't make the cabinets more orange? Any advice greatly appreciated :) thank you!

It's a really nice colour. You may need to go the next shade up as colours tend to be a couple of shades lighter on the exterior but it depends what you like. I'd get some testers. If you're painting directly on the wall you'll need to paint out some of the yellow with white otherwise it will distort the colour. Paint large samples using a min of 2 coats on each side of the house so you can see how it changes. I saw your comment on the other post earlier, I'm finally in the middle of having mine painted (3 years on!). I actually ended up going for F&B colours in the end but colour matched to Johnstones everywhere as it was just too dear other than for my front door which will be in LG.

I think if you are building a retaining wall over a certain height you need building regulations. if this is correct they will specify all the details you need to do it correctly, this will include building it so it is safe.

With the flooring, how about slate effect porcelain flooring (grey)? With the splashback I think green always looks nice with cream, but that will depend on your wall colour. Shell like hexagonal tiles are rather beautiful too.
